Acceptable as well as valid travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers who book their trip with us. It is a significant condition of accepting your booking after you agree to get adequate and valid travel insurance. Royal Holidays does not sell or make arrangements for a client’s travel insurance policy. Your insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness, and death medical expenses which may include any pre-existing medical complications, emergency helicopter evacuation or air ambulance wherever applicable.
A fun-filled and relaxed vacation is incomplete and nearly not possible with good travel insurance. In the case of any unfortunate events such as injury, personal illness or unexpected rescue, the cost of emergency and immediate evacuation by helicopter are overwhelmingly outrageous. We recommend our clients to take out insurance as soon as their booking is confirmed and strongly advise to insure yourself against any possible risk that may occur.
As your loyal service provider, we recommend you to thoroughly understand your insurance company and be extra cautious while choosing a policy – some insurance companies make special exceptions for a travel adventure. We also advise you to make aware to your insurance company about Royal Holidays itinerary which you will be undertaking. By doing so, the insurers will fully understand the activities that will be involved during your trip and thereby agree to cover all activities accordingly. For example, if you plan to book a trekking or climbing trip with us, it is extremely necessary that your insurance covers all emergency air ambulance, helicopter evacuation, and related medical expenses. While if you plan to join any group tours in the accessible urban areas, it is not compulsory to acquire insurance coverage of air ambulance or helicopter evacuation. Nevertheless, we don’t encourage to omit to purchase any of the insurance coverage; it is always better to have them rather than taking chances. If you plan to make a vacation trip exclusively to Tibet, then it is not necessary to purchase the air ambulance coverage as there are no possibilities of helicopter evacuation at all.
Furthermore, we advise you to send us a copy of your insurance policy and also carry it with you while traveling so that you are able to produce it wherever and whenever requested reasonably. It is our recommendation to you to include trip cancellations, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects in your insurance policy. We will not be responsible for costs you may incur as a result of not having valid or adequate travel insurance. It remains your sole liability to proclaim all facts including medical conditions to your travel insurance company. Failing to comply with the policies of the insurance company could result in a claim that could be reduced or totally turned down.
